We occasionally write to our pensioners, asking them to complete a proof of identity check. We realise it can feel intrusive to be asked this, particularly if you’ve been in receipt of a pension for many years. However, the Trustee has a duty to safeguard the Fund’s assets by ensuring we only pay benefits to those people who are entitled to them.
If we lose contact with you because you’ve not told us you’ve moved, we can’t successfully complete these checks – and we may need to suspend your pension. To avoid that from happening, please keep in touch with the Fund administrator, WTW, and let them know if your address changes.
